To whom it may concern: Bjorn Behrendt has worked for me as a computer technician since January 1999. In the time he has worked in Computing Services, he has made himself an indispensable asset to the department. Bjorn has the technical expertise to handle just about any installation or troubleshooting job on campus. In the time that I have known him, I have been most impressed with his ability and eagerness to learn about new technologies. In an environment where hardware and software technology changes constantly, I feel that this quality is essential to anyone working in this field. Bjorn also has a great work ethic. I always know I can count on him to see a job through to completion. Bjorn has excellent people skills. He works extremely well with all of the constituencies on campus - students, faculty, and staff. He is also a very effective and patient teacher. I have recommended him numerous times for jobs requiring one-on-one training. He is able to make technology understandable to the average end-user, and people feel comfortable with him. I highly recommend him for any position in the computer/technology field. Gayle Morris Malinowski
