| To Whom it May Concern: I am writing this letter to recommend Bjorn Behrendt who is applying for a position with your organization. I have known and worked with “BJ” for the past year in my capacity as Administrative Assistant to Guidance. BJ is the computer tech support person assigned to our school. In my work with BJ, he has helped me resolve network problems, listened to my frustrations when things don’t work right, and worked with me to use software applications with which I am unfamiliar. I have found him to be knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. He takes time to look at the big picture and asks clarifying questions to be sure he understands the need before he begins to work on a project. He also thinks ahead to anticipate problems before they arise. As a person, I have found BJ very easy to work with. He has a great sense of humor, empathy, and flexibility -- traits I consider important when working with people and their computers. He perseveres and loves to find the solution to a problem. He is also dedicated to making things as easy as possible for the user. He has often said to me that he would rather spend hours working on a project to make it user friendly, rather than the user having to spend hours figuring out how to make it work. I hope you will consider BJ for a position with your organization. Sincerely, Carole J. Fenn |
